You may be wondering.... What on earth is chicken crust pizza? Well let me tell you, I was skeptical at first too but then I made it. Ya'll, the first night I made this chicken crust pizza, I had never heard my children "mmm" so much! They LOVED it!
Think, chicken parmesan! Trust me, its delicious!
Chicken Crust Pizza
Ingredients
½ lb ground chicken breast
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp Italian seasoning (I use Mrs. Dash Italian)
Cooking spray
½ cup no-sugar-added tomato sauce (I use Rao's)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 "F.
Combine the first four ingredients in medium-sized bowl. (I just throw mine in a food process and mix)
Form the chicken mixture into a thin, circular crust shape onto a parchment-lined, lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake until golden, about 20 minutes.
Top with sauce, cheese, and tomato slice, and bake until cheese is melted, about 7 to 10 minutes.
Can also top with fresh basil before serving.
