The ingredients I am sharing for this Soy-Free Asian wrap are ingredients that work for me. Everyone has different levels of allergy and sensitivity, so I always encourage folks who are allergic to do their own research on brands that are shared.
Soy Free Ingredients
Romain lettuce leaves or Iceberg lettuce leaves
For the Soy-Free sauce
3TBSP Coconut Aminos
1TBSP sesame oil
1TBSP rice vinegar
1TBSP organic sun butter
1TBSP local honey
2tsp sweet chili sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground ginger.
Directions for Soy-Free Lettuce Wraps
Add beef to a hot nonstick pan. Cook the meat and break it up into very small pieces.
While beef is cooking, mix together the sauce. You may need to warm the sun butter up to make it easier to mix.
When the meat is no longer pink, add the soy-free sauce mixture and let simmer for a couple of minutes.
Once the sauce has boiled down a bit into the meat, turn heat off and serve in lettuce of your choice.
You can top it with peanuts, siracha or any other items you like to add to your Asian wraps.
Enjoy
